This is a picture I took of what is essentially a found object that is unique in that most are usually not attached to something. In this case, this is some remnant of a metal staircase or scaffolding on a condemned warehouse in south Baltimore city. I liked that the form of the object suggested something like the lines of a magic square or the work of Mark Di Suvero while the shapes and values of shading suggested Rothko's work. I leave it for the view to decide the aesthetic worth of this captured image.
This is an awesome pic! Its like a standing contradiction of itself... like 'ya, there was a wall here, then we made a hole in it, and then we remade the wall'...lol. Super!~

`karemelancholia is one of the most genuine deviants you could ever met. Always active and a true deviantART cheerleader and supporter in every aspect. You can always count on her to lend a hand or get involved, and you usually will find her doing large amounts of both at any given moment. Besides all of this, she's a truly talented artist which is why she's an obvious choice for deviousness this month. Read More
